SIZE & LENGTH: Each luminary lantern is 9-inches tall, 6-inches wide and 4-inches deep. For customers buying lights strings; they are 36-feet long, 12 sockets with 3-feet between each socket. One light string per set of 12 luminaries and can be strung end-to-end for up to 4 sets per string circuit.
LIGHT SOURCE OPTIONS:
1. No Light Source - Our luminarias are designed for general use. If you have your own tealights, candles or C7 light strings, you can use them with our luminaries. If using candles, we advise some kind of candle holder and always monitor while in use.
2. Electric Light Strings - Our most-popular light source. Available in green or white color. 12-socket light strings with 36-inches between sockets, 36-feet in total length. Comes with 13 standard clear C7 bulbs (one extra bulb!), 12 bulbs when LED flame or standard bulbs. PROS: Our brightest option. Convenient on/off at one location. Versatile bulb possibilities. CONS: electric cord between luminaries. Requires 110-volt outlet nearby.
3. LED Tealights with Timers - Our second most-popular light source. 12 individual tealights to match set of 12 luminaries. No more having to turn your tea lights on an off every evening! Simply turn them on once (at the time you want them to come on every evening) and they will stay on for 5 hours and then will automatically shut off for 19 hours. It will continue this same timing sequence every following evening. All you have to do is turn them on once! PROS: Nice flickering light mimics candles. No fire hazard. No electric cords involved. Batteries last approximately 35 hours. CONS: Less brightness than electric light strings. Warm White is the usual tea light color, making the white luminaries keep a clean white. If you would like more warmth and the closest thing to a candle look, select the amber tea light.
4. Candles & Holders - Our first, and most-traditional source of lighting. 12 candles and 12 holders come with each set of 12 luminaries. PROS: Nice flickering candle light. No electric cords involved. Candles last approximately 8 hours. CONS: Risk of fire and requires constant attention when in use. Requires cleaning of holders on a regular basis.
LUMINARY STAKES OPTION:
1. With Luminary Stakes - If you intend to use our luminaries outside, it is advised that you consider a method to secure the luminaries to the surface you will place them on. High winds or unlevel surfaces are common situations that will disturb your careful luminary setup. There are 2 easy solutions for securing your luminaries. The easiest method, if you have a penetrable surface, is to also select our luminary stakes that are matched specifically to your luminaries. The other option involves weighing down your luminaries with sand or small pebble stones in the base.
2. No Luminary Stakes - If you plan to use sand or small pebble stones to secure your luminaries no luminary stakes are necessary.

Top Notch
Luminaries arrived quickly and are as good as advertised. Will buy more this fall. I only gave 4 stars because these are hard to find online. I previously bought other luminaries and they only lasted one season. I wasted money that could have bought everything I need with these luminaries. The minute I took these from the box I knew they would last for years because they are so well made.

Proven wrong
I bet my wife one of these luminaries would collapse if I stood on top of it (we saw it done online). I go 220 lbs. It held up fine and I lost the bet so I had to write this. Giving only 4 stars because I hate to lose bets! lol

Surprised
I found these this year and so I bought them and they are outstanding. I hope to get my neighborhood involved because we do a one night paper luminary event every year. With these and we can run them all through December. I received many compliments and feel sure we will do these throughout our neighborhood next year.

Hope I don't sound like a broken record because pretty much all the reviews are good. But I was extremely impressed with this product. It doesn't compare to any other luminaries I previously tried. They came quickly, setup easy, and they look awesome! I highly recommend and will be coming back next year to buy more.
Not Expensive!
I've read reviews where customers complain about the price. These are NO EXPENSIVE! They cost more than cheap throw away plastic luminaries but these are the real deal and will last your lifetime! My last luminaries were from another company and cost maybe $10 less per set but didn't make it through 2 seasons. I started using my first order of these last year and now back buying more because I can tell they will last at least as long as the 10 year guarantee. I definitely advise people to buy these. You won't be sorry!

Perfect luminaries
We started a luminary program in our neighborhood last year and it was a raging success! We checked out and sampled the three luminary companies from the compare luminaries website and these were far and away the best. Cost a lot and worth it
I know the price can scare you, especially compared to other luminaria, but these are worth it. Last forever and zero problems... ever. I keep coming back to buy more.
Had for many years
I owned these for probably a decade or so but left them behind at my last house so here to buy more. My last sets were still like new when I used them last year. I don't think these ever wear out. They last forever. And... I've had other luminaries. These look the best by a mile. The body is sculptured to look like a real paper luminary. The other ones I owned looked like cheap plastic. I highly recommend these!
Perfect for our cemeteries!
We have a luminary event at several of our cemeteries every year and these are the perfect luminaries for what we need. We've used the same luminaries for many years and we continue to add more as we need them and are growing our event every year.
A winner!
This was my first Christmas with flic luminaries and I have to say it was very positive. This is the third different luminary company I have tried and I wish I had bought these first because they are by far the best! Definitely not the cheapest luminary, but these will last me the rest of my life, so it is far worth the money.
Extremely Fun For Kid's Party!
Bought these luminaries and also the color changing LED tea lights in the lighting accessory section. They ended up being everything I could imagine and more. I used luminaries for birthday decor for our child's 4th birthday and the kids loved them! I think the parents loved them just as much! These luminary sets and lights are well made so we can use them for years. I'm just not sure if we can wait a whole year before using them again. We let our child keep one luminary in his room with a color changing LED light. That was 2 weeks ago and it is still a big hit! I highly recommend these!

Just had our wedding last weekend! We bought these for our wedding reception lighting. Ran them on the perimeter. They really added ambiance and class. Received many compliments. Perfect white wedding luminaries!
We used these white luminaries at our wedding reception and they were perfect! Buy these when they are on sale (like I did) for a real bargain. These are plastic luminaries built very well and look expensive. Definitely the formal choice over flimsy paper luminaries. Cheap luminaries made from paper look just that, cheap. The last kind of impression you want at a wedding reception! I highly recommend these luminaries to everyone. We received so many compliments at our reception party!
Solid Choice
I've owned these luminaries for a long time. They are very solid and can stay outside for long periods in use. A little soap and water and they are cleaned up and look just like new! I've returned to this company to buy more and we will extend the beauty to our back deck for year-round decorative lighting.
